Breeding Owl Survey

The breeding owl survey is conducted annually by volunteers to monitor the species of owls in the area. This data will be very valuable as the years go by and we can start to monitor trends. Generally, the survey begins in late March (the third or fourth week of the month), and ends with two survey periods in early April. See the survey protocol for more details.

Please email boulder@d.umn.edu if you would like to participate.
