Winter Survival

Class Objective: Students will know what is needed to survive and concepts to meet these needs.

Possible Lesson Activies
(Offered Winter-Grades 3-12)

Fire: Students will learn how to start and keep a fire going and experience it first hand. Strike anywhere matches, flint and steel, and/or bow drills will be used.

Shelter: Students will learn components of succesful survival shelters and build one with a team using a tarp, sticks and/or snow.
