Frogs of the North Shore - Spring Calling Field Tour

Enjoy hands on learning about the frogs that are singing in the woods this spring. Short powerpoint of how to identify the frogs and toads of the north shore by sight, sound, and egg masses followed by field tour. Bring your water boots and we will try to catch some frogs and tadpoles to identify.

Highlights from this year's event

2006- A perfect day was highlighted by everyone learning about frogs by a spring ephemeral pond. A host of chorus frogs were caught along with a few wood frogs. Egg masses and a variety of frog species were on display in the "lab". |
