Boulder offers a variety of public programs ranging from family fun events to more specialized training such as the Woodland Advisor Program.

Examples of public programs at Boulder

Autumn Agate Festival - Family fun open house format that allows visitors to take in short presentations on how agates form and North Shore geology. Other stations include a "rock lab" where visitors can examine rocks under microscopes and ask the experts about rocks they find in a Boulder gravel pit. An awesome event rounded out with refreshments and caramel apples. More....
