University of Minnesota Duluth "Teaching Outdoor Skills" class use Boulder Lake as a "testing area" for teaching their peers outdoor skills on an overnight winter camping trip. |

Winter 2006 - A wonderful experience was had by all. Boulder was a beautiful winter wonderland to teach outdoor skills in. I love the quiet that is found on the north end of the lake. The wolves even howled at night as we were talking by the fire.
